I love this pineapple little smokies recipe because it is an easy one to whip up in a pinch, or I can let the Hawaiian Little Smokies cook by themselves for hours in my crock pot! Hawaiian Lit’l Smokies are so versatile and easy to plan.

What Do I Need to Make this Hawaiian Lit’l Smokies Recipe?

Original barbecue sauce, Kikkoman Soy Sauce, a bowl of Lit'l Smokies, a can of pineapple chuncks, and Mae Hoy sweet chili sauce.
  • 2 (14 ounce) packages lit’l smokies
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 Tablespoons soy sauce

Step by Step Instructions:

The sweet chili sauce, barbecue sauce, and soy sauce are stirred together with a fork.
  1. Mix together the sweet chili sauce, barbecue sauce and soy sauce. 
The sauce mixture is poured over the drained Lit'l Smokies and pineapple chunks.

2. Drain off any excess liquid from the Lit’l Smokies and add the Lit’l Smokies and pineapple chunks to either a saucepan or a slow cooker.  Pour the sauce over the Lit’l Smokies and pineapple and stir to make sure everything is combined.

3. If you’re cooking your smokies on the stovetop, you’ll want to bring them to a simmer and allow to gently simmer uncovered for 15- 20 minutes.

4. If you’re cooking your Lit’l Smokies in a slow cooker, cook on high for about an hour and a half to 2 hours. Or until the smokies are hot and the sauce has thickened slightly. Turn your slow cooker to keep warm and serve!
