Ingredients

  • 3 cups 330g sifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 6 tablespoons feta cheese crumbles
  • 1/3 cup frozen chopped spinach thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 can 12-ounces beer room temperature
  • 1/4 cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare a 9x5 loaf pan with nonstick baking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl add the all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir to combine the dry ingredients.
  • If you have any large clumps of feta, break them apart with a fork so that none are larger than pea sized. Add the beer, feta cheese crumbles, and spinach to the dry ingredients, breaking apart the spinach into smaller pieces as you add it to the bowl.
  • Stir just until all of the dry ingredients have been incorporated.
  • Spread the bread batter into the prepared loaf pan. Pour the melted butter over the top of the batter.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 38-42 minutes or until the bread is golden brown. Allow to cool 10 minutes in the pan, then turn out onto a wire rack.
