1 Cookie Sheet
1 Large pot
- 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
- 2 24 ounce jars spaghetti sauce
- 4 sub rolls* split in half
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat the oven to 400F. Cover a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat, set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat brown the ground beef. Drain off the fat. Add 2 cups of the spaghetti sauce to the meat and leave it on low while you prepare the bread.
Mix together the melted butter and garlic powder. Brush it over the rolls and then place the rolls in the oven to bake. Bake the rolls for 10 minutes. If you are using frozen garlic bread, simply bake the bread as directed and then move to the next step.
Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to the package directions. Drain the spaghetti and add the remaining spaghetti sauce to the cooked spaghetti.
To assemble your spaghetti bread boats, top a sub roll or garlic bread with the meat sauce, place spaghetti on top of the meat and finish with mozzarella cheese. Repeat with each sub roll and then bake again for 8-10 minutes.
Garnish your Spaghetti bread with fresh chopped parsley, grated parmesan or any other favorite spaghetti toppings! Enjoy.
