- 6 cups cabbage chopped into bite sized pieces
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper
- 3 Tablespoons melted butter
- 1 sleeve ritz crackers crushed
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray a 9x9 casserole pan with nonstick spray.
In a large bowl, add the chopped cabbage, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir it well until all the pieces of cabbage are generously coated. Season with salt and pepper, if desired and spread in the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
In a smaller bowl, mix together the melted butter and cracker crumbs. Sprinkle the buttered cracker crumbs over the cabbage.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling around the edges. If you prefer your cabbage to be more crisp, check it at 35 minutes. If you prefer a softer texture, it might need to cook for the full 45 minutes.
