Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels
This ridiculously easy cinnamon sugar pretzel recipe yields sweet, cinnamon sugar coated, crunchy pretzels for a sweet and salty snacking combo that you’ll love. Best of all, this recipe just takes a few ingredients and a few minutes in the microwave making it a perfect kid friendly cooking recipe.

- 8 cups mini twist pretzels
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons corn syrup
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
To Dust:
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
In a large microwaveable bowl, add the butter, sugar, corn syrup and cinnamon. Heat on 50% power just until the butter has melted. Stir to combine.
Add the pretzels to the bowl and stir well making sure that all the pretzels are coated in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Microwave uncovered on High 4 to 5 minutes, thoroughly stirring about every 2 minutes. Meanwhile mix together the remaining ¼ cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Carefully spread the hot pretzels onto a parchment lined cookie sheet and immediately sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar over the pretzels, stirring again make sure they are all coated and as much cinnamon sugar adheres to the pretzels as possible.
This recipe was tested using a 1000 watt microwave, depending on the wattage of your microwave, this recipe might take slightly more or less time.
Store in an airtight container.
