Bacon Horseradish Dip

Calling all horseradish lovers! This bacon horseradish dip is for you! This creamy dip is loaded with nonstop flavor. Smoky bacon, zippy horseradish and sour cream are the shining stars in this easy to make appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2-4 Tablespoons of prepared horseradish depending on your tastes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 2.5 ounce bag cooked real bacon pieces OR about 8-10 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 25-30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld. 
  • Reserve a few crumbled bacon pieces to sprinkle on the top, if desired. 

Notes

Serve this dip with potato chips, crackers, pretzel pieces, tortilla chips, pita bread, bagel chips, fresh cut veggies, french fries, tater tots. Use it to top baked potatoes, hamburgers, or even as a spread on a roast beef sandwich. This dip is surprisingly versatile.
