Apples, bacon, and cheese make an easy, delicious and out of the box fall breakfast when broiled on top of English muffins.

Ingredients

4wedges Laughing Cow Gouda Cheese Spread

Instructions
In a skillet cook the bacon on medium-high heat until crisp around 6-7 minutes. Remove the bacon to paper towels and discard the remaining bacon grease.
Add the apples, shallot, and brown sugar to the skillet. Cook and stir until the apples begin to get tender and the shallots caramelize, about 6-7 minutes. Remove from the heat. Crumble the bacon and add to the apple mixture.
Set the oven to broil.
Spread each half of the English muffin with half (or more if desired) of a Laughing Cow Cheese spread wedge. Top the English muffins with the apple mixture and place on a baking sheet. Broil 2-3 minutes or until the edges are crispy and browned. Serve warm.
Notes
Any sharp cheese spread can be used for these, try them with cheddar!
