Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter chips
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 36 mini pretzel twists optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  • In a medium sized bowl, cream together the butter and sugars. Beat until light and fluffy. Then add the eggs and vanilla, beating until blended. In another bowl, lightly stir together the flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
  • Stir in the pretzels, chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Roll into 1 1/2 inch balls and place two inches apart on your prepared baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 9-11 minutes.
  • Immediately after removing from the oven, press a mini pretzel twist into the top of each cookie. Let cool on the baking sheet for 3 minutes and remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
